American Heart Association offers many great programs. There are different program that focus on just one age group or another.
We chose Heartsaver AED/CPR because it includes instruction on how to properly use the AED(Automatic External Defibrillator) how to perform CPR on adults, children and infants. This course also teaches how to help when someone is choking.
This fun interactive course is perfect for all ages. It incorporates watching videos and practicing the skills on mannequins that provide instant biofeedback as you are performing the step. No more guessing and hoping you are compressing the right spot at the right rate these mannequin let you know as you are performing the skills so you can make adjustments as needed.
This is truly the ideal course for teachers, coaches, parents, grandparents, babysitters, day care workers.
Every participant will receive a Heartsaver AED/CPR certification that is good for 2 years.
